Al-Hikam Institute

 

‘Al-Hikam’ is the plural form of the word ‘Al-Hikmah’ which is interpreted as ‘Wisdom’ in the Arabic language. The ethos of the institute is to spread the wisdom of the Qur’an, Sunnah and the pious predecessors.

Al-Hikam Institute was established in 2015 by Imam Muhammad Asim Hussain in the city of Bradford to cater the spiritual and educational needs of the local community.

The institute offers a complete educational system for children of all ages and specialise in full-time Alim courses. The course gives them an opportunity to learn more about their faith.

As a mosque and community centre, Al Hikam Institute offers regular free events and lectures, which are open to the public which include Weekly Dhikr circles which are held every Tuesday evening under the supervision of Imam Muhammad Adil Shahzad.

Al-Hikam is kitted out with a computer suite, a prayer room that’s open to the public

Juma prayer is held on Fridays with the Friday sermon in English.

Al-Hikam Institute aspires to become a leading educational institute in the UK that specialise in instilling traditional Islam to students and producing British Scholars and Imams to serve the British communities.
