‘Al-Hikam’ is the plural form of the word ‘Al-Hikmah’ which is interpreted as ‘Wisdom’ in the Arabic language. The ethos of the institute is to spread the wisdom of the Qur’an, Sunnah and the pious predecessors.
Al-Hikam Institute was established in 2015 in the city of Bradford to cater the spiritual and educational needs of the local community.
The institute offers a complete educational system for children of all ages and specialise in full-time Alim courses. Gives them a chance to learn more about their faith.
As a mosque and community centre, Al Hikam Institute offers regular free events and lectures,
which are open to the public. Weekly Dhikr circles are held every Tuesday evening.
Juma prayer is held on Fridays with the Friday sermon in English.
